The freedom of a country depends on its citizens. Every country has a few brave hearts who willingly give up their lives for their countrymen. Freedom fighters play a very important role in making any country independent. India is a land of endless freedom fighters.
India is a great country. But the main reason behind the situation in which we are today and known as a developing country in the world is the rule of the British rule of more than 200 years, who came to India as a businessman and but taking advantage of the weaknesses of the Indian ruler starting rule here.
Who persecuted the Indians and forced them to live as slaves. but when this atrocity reached its peak, the Indians started opposing the British. Freedom fighters play a very important role in making any country independent these are the people who put their whole heart and life to liberate the country.
The sacrifices and movements started by the freedom fighters of India brought us freedom and made India an independent country in 1947. August 15, was and still is a memorable day for all Indians and is a reminder of the patriotism and struggle of our freedom fighters.
In this time, a lot of courageous women raised their voices against the slave. many women took to the streets, led processions, and held lectures and demonstrations. their selfless hard work, sacrifices, and struggles we can never forget.
We always remember the struggle of many freedom fighters. these are Matangini Hazra, Kanaklata Barua, Rani Laxmi Bai, Aruna Asaf Ali, Bhikaji Cama, Tara Rani, Moolmati, Sucheta Kriplani and so on. And let’s know in detail about some of these female freedom fighters
Matangini Hazra: Hazra was part of the Quit India movement and Non-co-operation movement during one procession, she continued to advance With the Indian flag even after even being short trice. she kept shouting “Vande Mataram”.
Begum Hazrat Mahal: She was a vital part of the 1857 Indian Rebellion. After her husband was exiled, she took charge of Awadh and even seized control of Lucknow during the rebellion. Later, Begam Hazrat had to retreat to Nepal, where she died.
So these are the female freedom fighters who are an inspiration to us. we can never neglect their memory in our hearts. Today we have been able to lead an independent life only because of eminent woman freedom fighters.
