Ted Lasso wins best comedy at the Emmys 2022 for the second time.

With 12 awards handed during the programme on Monday, the cable channel and its streaming service,

 HBO Max, dominated television's biggest night. The operatic "Succession," which is about power struggles in a billionaire's family, 

won the night's top prize for outstanding drama series, and Zendaya ("Euphoria") and Jean Smart ("Hacks") 

 each received awards for their second seasons of drama and comedy series, respectively.

The White Lotus, an HBO class satire, took up the award for best limited series,

And "Ted Lasso," an Apple TV+ comedy series, won for best comedy series.

When it came time to present out the night's last prize—outstanding drama series for "Succession"—Selma Blair joyfully entered the stage.

The actress, who received a standing ovation for her speech and multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2018, added, "I'm really delighted to be here this evening.
