Priscilla Presley reveals Elvis was painful to watch because I lived it

Priscilla Presley, Elvis Presley's ex-wife, revealed which portions from the movie "Elvis"

she found hardest to watch on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of her former husband's passing.

The tragic tale of the iconic singer's life, including his misguided marriage to Priscilla, is told in Baz Luhrmann's biography.

The 77-year-old revealed on the "Today" show that she found it difficult to observe

the development of Presley's connection with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

She was married to the King of Rock 'n' Roll from 1967 until 1973.

It was also a tough pill to chew, she added, to observe how the singer attempted to expand his

career beyond music and into "serious" cinema work but eventually failed to do so.
