Memphis teacher Eliza Fletcher abducted while early morning jog.

According to police, a teacher from Tennessee went missing on Friday after being forcibly kidnapped while a morning jog.

According to a statement from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Eliza Fletcher, 34, 

was being forced into a dark-colored SUV at 4:30 a.m. when she was running on Central Avenue in Memphis.

Police reported that Fletcher was sporting a pink jogging top and purple running shorts at the time. 

She has brown hair, green eyes, and is 137 pounds and 5'6".

Police provided a blurry image of an SUV that was wanted in connection with the kidnapping but claimed they had no idea of its direction of travel.

According to Memphis news station WREG, Fletcher's phone was discovered in the abandoned in the area.

Hart Robinson, a friend of Fletcher's, told the station, "We don't know what's going on, but everybody is anxiously looking for her and the police here are on it."
