Massachusetts Election Results 2022: Andrea Campbell vs Shannon Liss-Riordan

When Democratic Attorney General Maura Healey announced her run for governor in January,

she created a clear route for the upcoming "people's lawyer."

Quentin Palfrey, a former assistant attorney general and the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor in 2018,

withdrew his campaign this week after lacking in fundraising and public polls, which helped the hotly contested race narrow.

As he left the race, Palfrey endorsed Andrea Campbell, a former Boston city councillor and candidate for mayor of Boston,

over Shannon Liss-Riordan, a rival who was occasionally an ally of his on the campaign trail.

This is true even though Palfrey has repeatedly criticised Campbell for failing to denounce a super PAC

that is funding her campaign and creating potential conflicts of interest should she succeed in her endeavour.
