In a recent Ohio Senate poll, Tim Ryan and J.D. Vance are neck and neck.

Ohio's U.S. Senate race is far from over with less than two months until election day.

J.D. was favoured in a USA TODAY Network Ohio/Suffolk University poll conducted on Monday that

U.S. Republican Tim Ryan and J.D. Vance both tied in the race to replace GOP Sen. Rob Portman

The Democratic congressman continued to have a slight lead with 46.6% of the vote against Vance's 45.6%.

The outcome was within the poll's margin of error, which was plus or minus

4.4 percentage points, indicating that the race is still open.

It also confirmed results from other recent, independent polls that indicate a close race as campaigning nears its peak.
