Andrea Campbell and Maura Healey stop in Lowell during their campaign.

In order to persuade people to cast their ballots in Tuesday's primary,

two Democratic candidates for the state's highest seats organised a rally on election night.

Due to the persistent rain, it was moved last-minutely from Roberto Clemente Park

to Western Avenue Studios, where it still attracted dozens of supporters.

Candidate for governor Maura Healey and candidate for attorney general Andrea Campbell

campaigned for each other and urged voters to cast ballots while being supported

by Lowell Mayor Sokhary Chau and former U.S. Rep. Joseph Kennedy.

Since Healey declared her intention to run for governor of the commonwealth, the position of attorney general is currently wide open.
