Actress Robyn Griggs, from "Another World," Passes Away at 49

Robyn Griggs passed away. She was most recognised for her work on the soap operas Another World and One Life to Live. She was 49.

On Saturday, the actress' Facebook page posted a notice of her passing.

Griggs posted last month that she had been diagnosed with four new tumours.

She had been open about her health difficulties on social media and had been battling cervical cancer.

Griggs made her One Life to Live debut as Stephanie Hobart in April 1991 and appeared in six episodes. 

She started as Maggie Cory on Another World in 1993 and kept the role for two years.

She began her career in children's theatre before making an appearance on Nickelodeon's Rated K,

A show that ran from 1986 to 1988 and featured young kids rating movies. She was born on April 30, 1973, in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.
